About Chloe
I am currently a graduate student working towards my masters degree in Rhetoric and Composition. I began tutoring in highschool, as a tutor to elementary aged students. From there I had experince working online as a tutor with Varisty Tutors in the Los Angeles area. During my four years as an undergraduate, I simultaneously excelled in my studies as an English major while working as a writing tutor at my university's Writing Center. As a current graduate student, my communication and writing skills have further expanded as I now teach college level composition classes. Teaching writing is a passion of mine, and I am excited to work with students of all age groups to strengthen their confidence of their own skills. Writing is not a talent; rather, it is a skill that can be acquired and mastered by all.

Regardless of age, students tend to work best when in a comfortable environment. This involves a relationship of trust. Therefore, I am always sure to be transparent with my students, this includes sharing my own insecuritites about my writing. Instead of jumping into an evaluation test, I would rather talk to the student (or parent) about where they believe they excel as well as what areas they think they need to work on. This basis of conversation is the first step in ensuring a basis of understanding between the student and myself.
