About Landon
I have been tutoring/teaching for over six years, and have experience with age groups ranging from elementary school through college. I tutor a variety of subjects, such as english, literature, government/politics, communication, economics, and statistics, along with SAT, GRE and LSAT prep.
I very much enjoy teaching/tutoring and seeing my students achieve their goals and learn the material throughout the way.
In addiiton to freelance work, I have been employed by a high-school secondary education co-op and by the University of Arizona's Stragetic Alternative Learning Technique center, where I recieved extensive training. I additionally graduated with honors from my university with a degree in Politics, Philosophy, Economics and Law. I am currently going to law school, having scored in the 93rd percentile on the LSAT

First, I always like to begin by establishing the student's foundations in the material, exactly where they are so we're not spending a lot of time on things they already know, or jumping past what they've learned. Then, its just a matter of working through the material at a pace that's good for them, ensuring they've really learned before moving on to something new.
I have worked with students of a variety of ages, from elementary school to college students. I also have worked extensively with students who have learning disabilities through the SALT center.
