About Jessica
I am very passionate about helping children learn and learn in a fun way. I like to relate the information they are given to a topic they will understand.
I started teaching because I knew my passion was to help children from a young age so I knew once i got old enough to get a job I would get one where I am making a difference in a child's life.
I have worked with children for thirteen years. I have always had a passion to help children. I have done two years of AmeriCorps as well so that has only made my passion grow. I have also been a substitute teacher.

I like to understand what they struggle with when it comes to reading. I like to see if its the vocabulary or the spelling of words or the context of a story they read.
I have worked with elementary and middle school kids.
I would tell the student to look for someone they can relate too as well as someone who can understanhd their needs and will cater to them versus ignoring the needs.
