About Alex
I engage as much as possible with my students; I look for what interests them and how it can help with a subject they are struggling with. I also avoid repetitive tasks as I feel as though they cause more stress than help.
I love helping people in general. I like explaining concepts and helping others understand them, as well as having a total interest in subjects of writing, English and literature.
I have a degree in communication sciences and disorders; I have a vast knowledge of language and how it works, as well as many high-scoring classes in English, literature, writing and public speaking.

I try to figure out what method works best for them; if it's memorization, example practice, talking through confusion. I don't assign extra work unless its wanted, and I will help with everything that needs to be worked on. I also try to bring a lightness to the sessions; staying on task without stress or being too serious.
