About Cynthia
I recently graduated with a Biology, B.S. from UCLA and am heading to medical school in the fall. Along the way, I have taught students ranging from elementary school through high school, across all subjects, with a focus on English writing and mathematics. I have also led as a biochemistry teaching assistant at UCLA. My main experience includes mentoring and teaching students after-school in Crenshaw, downtown LA, as part of the nonprofit Education Center. I love working with kids across the board, particularly seeing the brightening of their smiles and the glowing animation of their faces when they discover and unveil new knowledge.
