About Phoenix
Phoenix completed multiple college English courses throughout his time at Pierce College. Graduating in December of 2018 with his associate's degree in liberal arts, Phoenix is now studying for his bachelor's in marketing and entrepreneurship while pursuing his dreams to become a successful business owner. When Phoenix is not working on his company or school, he does freelance writing and volunteer outreach activities.
I have an Associate's degree in liberal arts. During college, I successully completed several English courses as well as earned a 3.9 GPA in my communications course. I am currently studying for my Bachelor's degree in marketing. I've written blog posts independently and have a goal of writing a book one day!

When working with a new student, the first meeting is composed of a complimentary 15 minute 'sample' tutoring session designed to allow the student to discover if they like my teaching style. If they feel that they've learned a lot in the 15 minute sample session and wish to continue, then I will ask them what they're looking for based on the level of help they need. Finally, a discussion about future scheduling and payment will wrap up the first session.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
In my opinion, having an idea of what weaknesses and strengths the student possesses can greatly enhance the tutoring experience and will allow for the maximum value in each session. Arriving at the tutoring session prepared with the printed essay or homework problem in hand and expressing exactly what it is they don't understand is very helpful.
