About Chase

Being that the tutor is seventeen years old, your child will have a relatable tutor that understands the way school is like in this day and age. He understands how english is changing with the times and will be able to teach it to younger children having trouble with reading or writing.

I enjoy getting to help develop the minds of the future visionaries and help them realize they are very smart, it just takes hard work.

When COVID-19 broke out, I was jobless from my normal job at a Cycling Studio. I wanted a way to make money by working online but most online jobs required a college degree or to be an adult. I came across this website and realized that I have strong skills in reading and writing and could help younger children who struggle in those areas. 



It is important to know that I am still a high school student. I have no actual degree or proffesional experience, but I have been in public school for twelve years. I understand how the school system works and how it is ever changing in this day and age. Most tutors that are much older don't understand the difference in modern school versus school in the past. Everything I teach I have learned in my school experience and have mastered.

I work with students in first grade through fifth grade. I offer basic reading and writing skills. I teach how to write personal narritives or expository essays, I teach proper word choice, effective writing techniques and editing skills. I also teach the basics to reading at a speed of 60-114 WPM and how to comprehend a story.



Although it wasn't teaching, I was a camp counselor for kids in grades Kindergarten-4th grade.



When looking for a reading or writing teacher, I recommend finding a tutor that has relatable experience to your sturggles or relatable experience to the school system/curriculum you are in. Also, make sure you are comfortable with them and are not afraid to show your struggles.

I understand that having your child well educated can usually be pricey, but education is extremly important. I charge $30 a lesson (each lesson is 45-55 mins). I take Venmo or Paypal for payment.
