About Allison
I am currently a Reading Specialist with experience teaching reading, spelling, and writing skills to students in Pre-K through 6th grade. I am in the process of completing my Orton-Gillingham training, which is an approach to teaching literacy skills through multi-sensory, sequential, direct instruction. With over 6 years of tutoring and 9 years of teaching experience, I am eager to create an individualized curricular plan for your child based on his or her specific learning needs. Most importantly, during our tutoring sessions your child will have fun while making gains and learning strategies to become a successful reader and writer!
