About Elizabeth
I am currently a college-level English writing tutor who works at The University of North Texas, who specializes in essay writing and proofreading, but can help improve any and all kinds of writing, and help you to improve your writing quality overall. Along with English tutoring, I am a conversationally fluent Japanese speaker who can teach beginner to intermediate Japanese using the GENKI I and II textbooks.
I feel language skills are very important regardless of what you do, and being able to communicate yourself clearly and concisely is a viable skill to have. I love watching my students realize they know what they want to say and how they want to say it, they just needed a small push in the right direction. Anyone can be a good writer, they just need guidance.
(And as for helping with Japanese, put simply, Japanese is cool. Learn to speak it. It's fun.)
For English tutoring: since Fall 2018 I have been working at The University of North Texas as an English writing tutor. I also made a 3 on the AP English Language and Composition and a 4 on AP English Literature tests
For Japanese: I have been studying for 3 years, both in the United States at my university, and in Japan on two study abroad trips.
