About Max
I am currently a student studying English Education as a major and creative writing (specifically poetry) as a minor at the University of Northern Iowa.
I love editing essays to help individuals improve their English and can give pointers on how to properly write acedemic papers.
My 10th grade Language Arts teacher is the reason I decided to major in Education. In 12th grade I decided to concurrently enroll in a community college and recieve teaching experience as a co-teacher in a high school setting.
I am currently a student at the University of Northern Iowa studying English Education and Creative Writing.

My process includes asking the student what it is that they need help with. Once I have discovered what the problem is, I ask what provisions have been taken to try and find a solution. Then I give my feedback and work with the student to come to a consensus of what is best for the problem at hand.
I have worked with 10th grade students as a co-teacher.
Since I am not a certified teacher, I would suggest students have some basic understanding of writing and know what their problem areas are so I know what to soecifically help with.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Make sure to ask yourself what the problem at hand is and think of a way it can be solved. Once you have a possibility, mention it to your teacher and get their input. If no solution comes up, ask your teacher if they have any suggestions. Never ask for blatant answers or solutions, get input and form your own ideas.
