About Ashley
I've worked as a 7th Grade English Language Arts Teacher for the last two years and have tutored from grades ranging from Kindergarten to 11th grade in subjects relating to English. I graduated from the University of Central Florida with a Bachelor's in writing and rhetoric. I love English and the art of writing!

Depending on the grade level I will either meet with the student (usually higher grades) or the parent and discuss the needs i.e what they need help with, what the homework is like on average, and build general understanding of the student and begin to build a relationship. Then I would assess them to see what level they are performing at if test records are not available .I do believe that standardized testing is limited and can overshadow a lot of strengths that a student has.
