About Nicola
Welcome to The Reading Garden, where it is my goal to grow a community of lifelong readers!
There is no greater delight than helping a child learn to read successfully, it is my passion! I hold a Bachelor of Science in Education from West Chester University, PA, and have over 20 years of teaching experience, working in a variety of school settings in the U.K. Singapore, S.Korea, and the U.S. I am IMSE Certified in Orton-Gillingham Structured Literacy and a Certified Literacy Dyslexia Interventionist. I continue my education through professional development and conferences gathering the latest research and strategies to implement with my students. My aim is to develop confident readers by providing a structured, systematic program, that is research based, multi-sensory, fun and engaging!
