About Vannex
I have an Associates of Liberal Arts in English and am currently pursuing a Bachelors in English with a teaching certification at Texas State University. I'm very passionate about writing with an emphasize on creative and concise delivery.
The most enjoyable aspect of my work is helping others bridge the gap between feelings and ideas to complete thoughts and sentences. A close second would be learning and being able to use new words in every day life and share that information with my students.
In 2016, I started working for a daycare. I soon came to the realization I wanted to work at a preschool where there was a curriculum. I started as an assistant teacher and I loved it. Once I earned my Associates degree I took over as the Pre-K teacher. I've loved teaching and educating ever since.
While being in college, I've completed a 2 week intense grammar and editing course, completed writing classes such as technical, creative, expository, pursuasive, and poetry.
I taught Pre-K for 4 years with emphasis on phonics, rhyme, and writing. Along with teaching, I've also home school tutored for reading and writing.

I focus on understanding how the student learns best and adapt my teaching style to meet the students needs. I do my best to gauge the students stimulation levels so that they don't get overwhelmed with any particular portion of material.
I'm very patient and prioritize true understanding rather than repetition and drills.
I've worked with students from 3 years old through 12 years old from all backgrounds. I have experience with special needs and am happy to accommodate any students needs to ensure success.
