About Deepali
I have been tutoring English and math for over 7 years, and I absolutely love it. I have helped students aged four through 20 through private tutoring, group tutoring, and teaching classes in schools. During the first session, I will conduct an initial diagnostic test and learn more about what your learning goals are. I will then create a personalized lesson plan to help you achieve your goals.
Helping a student master a challenging concept, and seeing the joy their success brings them, is what I strive for as a tutor. I enjoy working with students to help them grow and reach their full potential. Together, we will make the most difficult problems, easy!
I first started teaching math nine years ago in high school to my peers and younger students after school. I started tutoring in English and ESL five years ago in a preschool, fourth-grade, and fifth-grade class. I have experience in private tutoring, group tutoring, and teaching a classroom.

I ask the student and their guardian what their goals are for the school year, what concepts/subjects they'd like to work, and what subjects they feel comfortable with. I then start with a diagnostic test to better guage my student's strengths and weaknesses. We review the diagnostic answers together, and talk through the parts the students struggled with, and the concepts they feel confident about. After the diagnostic review, I create a personalized study plan for the student based on their goals and their needs.
I have worked with students ages 3 - 20, and ESL students. I have taught math, English, handwriting, Spanish and German.
