About Dakota
I've been teaching drums at Russo Music for the past four years. Over that time I've learned how to effectively help people achieve their goals.
My favorite part of teaching is seeing my students progress!

The first step is clearly defining any specific goals the student has. Whether or not a student has clear goals, or just wants to learn, I will develop a fully comprehensive lesson plan for the student.
I've worked with over 100 students. This includes students from 7 to 75 years old.

I'm a finance professional that started taking drums in my late 30s from Dakota about 3 years ago. Over that time, my understanding of music and coordination/syncopation has grown larger than I had ever imagined. It taught me that at any age, we can learn new things, express creativity and build new neural networks. I sometimes miss my Friday evening lesson due to life getting in the way, but having a formal lesson plan in place keeps me motivated as spending money always makes people more serious and engaged with whatever hobby they are exploring.

If you'd like to take lessons at Russo Music with me, where there is a fully equipped studio, lessons are $125.00 a month. That is for one 30 minute lesson a week.
