About Katrina
Hi there! I'm a multi medium art primarily inspired in fabrics. Being well versed in many mediums for artistic expression, it's a enjoy teaching art in acquiring what you can create for yourself.
The best thing about creating art is to be open to learn something new. Art becomes new each time you practice what you know to develop a passion for bringing something new into the world.
I started teaching with a degree in Early childhood Education. Later on in my art career I've taught up to 25 students in a classroom setting skills many still practice today.
I am a self- taught artist with over 18 years of experience in creating and promotion through art galleries, art festivals, social media promotion, private custom work, also solo exhibitions.

I find it's important when working with a new student to build a foundation of trust. Learning each other. Also learning to trust what will come to be when it is created in art. It makes the experience enjoyable. So we invest time together through exercises to do that as we get to know each other.
