About Phillip
I teach art in a way that builds on the skills you already have. I mix my knowledge of all aspects of art to push you to challenge yourself while you have fun and improve. I have studied in Chicago, Italy, and Greece. I have taught in Tacoma, Chicago, New Orleans, and now on Maui.
I studied Education at the University of Puget Sound.
I studied art at the Art Institute of Chicago, The International School of Art in Umbria, Italy, and had an internship with the artist Vasilliki in Athens, Greece. I have a masters degree in Teaching from the University of Puget Sound. I have also taught public school art for 20 years in Washington, Chicago, New Orleans, and now Maui.

I look at their work to see what they ecell at, and where they can improve. Then from there I work with the student to improve at a rate that workks with the student. It is a very personal system, and every student is different.
All ages, races, and backgrounds. I have also taught students with special needs.
