I enjoyed several sessions with Tiny School of Art & Design including acrylic painting, collage and book arts. Heidi paid close attention to the learning process for individual students and progressed through the sessions at a pace suited for those in attendance.

Heidi did a great job of giving a framework to work within but then encouraging us to go our own way. Lots of cheerleading and coaching but I never felt like she was trying to influence my creativity. I do not consider myself a particularly creative nor artistic person but I was very pleased with what I created. Felt more like making art with a friend. I would definitely like to make more art with her.

Heidi taught me a bookbinding technique at a retreat and it was a wonderful experience. She had a beautiful variety of paper and twine for us to use and I treasure the book that I was able to make. I also really appreciated her direct and caring teaching approach, which made me feel at ease and created a stress-free and supportive environment. I've had anxiety about creating art in the past, but she made bookbinding so accessible that I feel confident that I could make another book on my own at home.

Heidi is very personable and teaches how to use an array of mediums. I intend to take more classes from her! Definitely recommend to others!
