About Katie
I have been involved with the fine arts since I was in Elementary School. Art is a subject I am very passionate about, and even more so about sharing that passion with others. I am currently further purusing this at college where I am studying drawing for a degreee in the fine arts. I will help students achieve goals in subjects of art through lessons that start with the basics and steadily go towards the more detailed elements of art.
I have volunteered with art clubs at schools, conducted private art lessons, and have assisted in teaching art classes through the course of the past three years.
I have personally been exhibited in school hosted art shows, and have won art competitions through school and community organizations. I have hosted a solo art show, where I exhibited personal art work in a gallery. In high school, I was part of the National Art Honor Society; where I was also formally recognized in artistic achievement.
