About JULIA
Teach dance fitness and dance classes. Julia approaches teaching dance with an eye for function and line. Her descriptive coaching reaches a visceral level to bring out the best in your performance and technique.
I enjoy the ah ha moments my students experience.
I have been a professional dancer, actress, and performer in NYC for over 6 years. Additionally, I worked and trained outside of Boston where I completed an undergraduate degree in dance and theatre.

My process for working with a new student is to build trust and technique. I then progress to amending movement patterns and work on mental awareness, breath, and confidence. From there it is a fun, hard-working journey into style and storytelling.
I specialize in work with performers, women, and teens in private and group lessons.
