About Tiffany
I taught professionally at Arthur Murray for several years and am certified in American Ballroom, Latin, and East Coast Swing!! I specialize in helping both individuals and couples feel comfortable on the social dance floor, whether for a wedding, special event, or just a fun hobby! I provide private one-on-one lessons customized to meet your needs and desires! Each lesson is thoroughly planned out before hand so that you know exactly what you will be learning each day and can feel a sense of immediate accomplishment when you achieve your objective at the end of the lesson! I also provide group lessons for birthday parties, family functions, business events, and more! Group lessons are for parties of 6 or more and are designed to allow a group to learn a fun dance sequence to one or more dance styles. By the end of the lesson, participants will be able to dance it by themselves, with a partner, with music and timing!
I enjoy watching my students excel and find a renewed sense of confidance in themselves, all while meeting new people, getting great exercise, and learning a new skill. I started teaching pre-school while I was in college, and since then have taught both formally through the Arthur Murray Dance schools as well as privately through local events and functions.
I have been dancing since I was a small child, connecting to music through movement is a passion of mine. I have trained with instructors from around the world and am certified in American Ballroom, Latin, and East Coast Swing. I was named VIP Dance Instructor for the Boston Area Arthur Murray Schools in 2016 and have been ranked one of the top 15 instructors in the world for two consecutive years in a row.

I like to have a brief interview my students before the first lesson to sit down and discuss their needs, desires, expectations, and what I can do to help them reach their goals. Getting a better understanding of my students allows me to fully customize their lessons to their needs and wants. So that each lesson is unique to the individual and provides satisfaction in the personalization of the students time and investment. From then on, the lessons will be tailored to the individual and flexible around their schedules and timelines as they may change and grow over time.
I work with students of all ages and backgrounds. Lessons are tailored to meet individual needs and desires. There is no age or physical limitation to dancing! Everyone can do it!
Choosing a dance teacher is almost like chosing your personal assistant. You want to chose someone that allows you to feel comfortable around them, someone you feel you can trust, and someone that makes reaching your goals fun and easy. Don't just pick the cheapest offer, because they may not be the best fit for you. Consider all areas of investment, their education, their knowledge, and most importantly their personality and if they are a good fit for YOU.
I had a couple who came in to learn a dance for their wedding, and a year and a half later, they were still having fun dancing together, and had been out social dancing on multiple occasions. They decided to elevate their dancing to the next level by participating in a local Ballroom competition. The biggest goal to get out on the dance floor, show their best moves, and have a good time doing it together. Like any new event, they had some great dances, and some dances they felt were not their best. But overall, they were happy that they had challenged themselves in a new way and that they had the confidance to do it together. At the end of the event, the awards were handed out and they were awarded the TOP STUDENT AWARD for their category. I was so proud and happy for them to be able to share this moment and feel rewarded for all of their time, effort, and trust in themselves, and their dancing. This is one of my most fondest teaching moments.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
When discussing needs, students should consider how much time they are willing to put into their learning, i.e. if the dance is for a wedding, how much time will you have before the wedding to learn to dance, if you are learning just for fun, how often do you plan on having lessons? In general, as with anything the more time you put in to your learning, the faster you will see the results you are desiring. However, teaching and lessons are flexible around students timelines and availability. Most students will take at least two lessons a week, but these can be on separate days or back to back lessons on the same day to maximize available time.
Students should also consider what else they hope to get out of their dancing, do you want to surprise someone special? Are you looking for exercise? Are you looking to meet new people by having the knowledge and confidance to go out social dancing? All of this helps me to meet your needs and help you reach your goals.

We started to take dance lessons with Tiffany about 6 months before our wedding so that we would know what we were doing on the dance floor. Tiffany choreographed a great first dance for our wedding, and we learned a lot of other dances as well (10 total!) that we were able to use throughout the night and while on our honeymoon! We have enjoyed our lessons so much that we have decided to continue our learning even beyond our wedding day. It is always a pleasure to meet with Tiffany. Her upbeat personality can pull us out of our deep funks after a long dag at work. We are so greatful for the inspiration she has given us to persue our dreams!

Details
Typically lessons are $75 for a 45 minute lesson. This is for either an individual or couple. Couples are encouraged to take lessons individually in addition to their together lesson as students will learn more quickly when they have 45 minutes dedicated to their individual needs.
Rates for group lessons and events vary based on the event.
Group lessons do require a minimum of 6 people.
