Experienced tutor in Dance in Chandler, Desert Star offers private lessons tailored to your needs.

I've been a dancer at this studio for about 12 years now and I would not have it any other way. I've learned many skills dancing but also including social skills such as leadership, communication, and responsibility. I've been a company member for many years and still have the time for a life outside of dance just like any kid my age should. Also on top of the many surgeries I've had limiting my abilities to do many things in dance my instructors have always helped me work with and around my disabilities. Desert star is accepting to all and I would recommend it to any level or age dancers!

I love bringing my daughter to dance weekly ! She LOVES going to dance and has learned so much ! Kennedi brings her dance moves home and shows her dad and thinks it's the coolest ever ! Thank you !

The owner of DSD was my teacher when I was younger and she taught me well and encouraged me to follow my dreams. I am fortunate to have had a great dancing career in LA and with the AZ Cardinals thanks to her skills and support. My daughter is now dancing with DSD and I am MORE than confident in not only Ann's ability but, all of hear teachers' to give my babe exactly what she needs. I HIGHLY recommend DSD! Thanks for being amazing!

We happened upon a DSD live community performance 7 years ago and were so impressed by the dancing skills, choreography, creativity, and fun we observed. The instructors and staff were helpful and attentive to our family as we entered the studio experience. Our daughter quickly became a dedicated dancer, inspired and encouraged by the instructors, motivated by the discipline, personal achievement, and thrill of artistic performance. We are also pleased with the safe, healthy, structured environment, responsiveness and support of the staff, and the opportunities and guidance for professional development. We love our DSD family!

My daughter has been dancing at DSD for 10+ years and she absolutely loves it here. Not only has she gained great dance skill from the fabulous staff, she has also learned many life lessons. She has gained responsibility, confidence, and kindness from this studio. If anyone had to choose a studio for their child I would 100% recommend DSD because of the age appropriate costumes, family friendly environment, and experienced teaching.

We recently moved to Arizona and are so happy we found Desert Star Dance. The instructors are fantastic and my girls love it. They are both growing in confidence and skill with every class and performance they participate in. Excellent!

We are grateful to DSD because the instructors care about teaching students skills, diligence, determination, confidence, and believing in themselves. That's pretty fantastic and seeing your kiddo be successful in these areas is a wonderful thing!!!

We are in our 3rd year at Desert Star Dance and both my girls LOVE it there. The teachers are always professional and enjoyable. The productions are out of this world. We look forward to many more years with them.

Desert Star Dance has been our dance home for 10 years. All of the instructors are extremely professional and knowledgeable, and most have taught at DSD for many years. Dancers are exposed to a variety of learning experiences throughout the year, culminating in one of the most entertaining and professional student productions you'll ever see!

I recently found this great dance studio in Chandler. Good instructor/dance ratio. Love the two way mirror so kids cannot see parents watch. It helps them to concentrate more on their class. My daughter is signed up for 2 classes and she loves them.

My daughter LOVES Desert Star! We've lived in Gilbert /Mesa and have tried other studios. Desert Star provides a family friendly learning environment. Its conveniently located and the owner Ann Bode is a hands on instructor. The staff here is amazing and the atmosphere is very positive and classy. We absolutely love it here.

We love DSD!!! The staff and instructors are amazing!! Making the decision to put my daughter in dance was very easy because of the awesome dance community they have.

Desert Star Dance in my eyes is the best dance studio that my daughter has attended to date. The staff is caring, helpful and enjoy what they are doing. The instructors for each genre are very knowledgable and genuinely like and know each of thier students by name and are willing to help on the spot if there are questions or special instruction needed. The studio its self is clean and has room to seat a lot of people. There are tables for students to do homework and eat meals since most of them are there from the time they get out of school until late in the evening. My over all impression is the best I have seen to date.

My daughters first year here and we absolutely loved it. Her teacher Amanda was so amazing and always went the extra yard to make each kiddo feel important! Thank you Desert Star Dance!

Ann is an awesome dancer and wonderful teacher! I wish the team all the success!

Great people and great classes! They really treat you well and will take care of you.

My daughter has been dancing at DSD for almost 5 years now. She loves it and has improved so much since she was a little 5yo. Her instructors are amazing and encouraging and very patient. She’s made some wonderful friendships and looks forward to classes each week. Ms. Ann runs a great studio!

Desert Star Dance has been a wonderful studio for my daughter! She is three years old and absolutely loves Miss Janice! Classes are led with high expectations, patience and kindness! We feel welcomed every time we come in and look forward to class each week! Thank you Desert Star Dance for introducing dance to my daughter in such a positive way!! ⭐️⭐️⭐️

Desert Star Dance is an incredible studio with fabulous teachers who love kids and dance. My daughter loves dancing here and she loves her teachers. They are skilled, passionate, gracious teachers who know how to work with and encourage kids to rise to their best.

We love DSD! The staff is friendly, Miss Janice is really great with the kids and it’s very affordable! It’s only our second month there and we love it so much.

Best dance class ever! My five year old and three year old are in their combo class learning tap and ballet. Miss Faith is absolutely amazing with them and a true bonus they get to take the class together.
