About Aharon
Breaking on to the culinary scene as early as eight years old, Executive Chef Aharon Denrich has been WOWing peoples’ palates for over 3 decades with his culinary prowess. Home trained until his 17th birthday when he was catapulted into the professional culinary world getting a short order cook, bar back and bouncer position at the nationally acclaimed Max’s on Broadway (now Max’s Tap House). While slinging burgers and wings as well as unruly inebriated patrons, Aharon knew he was destined for greatness. On the Eve of his eighteenth and a half birthday, while sitting at The University of Pennsylvania Quaker Stadium with his father, who was in awe of his sons accomplishments so far, and the hope of a future for him at this great University with a major in Business Banking and degree from the Wharton school of business. When all of a sudden Aharon realized that his true passion wasn’t in becoming a business tycoon but to become one of the world’s greatest unknown chefs alive! At that moment he turned to his father after being asked,” is this what you really want?”, and said, after careful contemplation, long long but not too long contemplation, “NO, Father I WANT TO BE A CHEF!!” And so it was decided on that day that Aharon would further his culinary career at the best culinary school in the these Untied States of America, if not the entire World, and possibly the whole Universe at The Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, New York (Home of Franklin Delano Roosevelt)!
A position with a purpose, a feeling of being whole again, knowing what I did mattered to my community and the world around myself. Helping those that need the help and that deserve the help back onto the right path. Everyday I wake up and feel fulfilled because I know that what I am doing is going to really change lives through the food that I helps produce.
