I have worked with all levels and ages of students. I have taught at a local music store, as a graduate assistant, through a charter school, as an instructer at the Boston University Tanglewood Institute, and privately.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students should try and define a goal or trajectory for their study. Is it for placement auditions at school, all-state programs, college admission, leisure, etc? This will help both the teacher and student prioritize and focus on the goals.
