About Brittney
Biology is my passion, with a side of chemistry. I enjoy fostering a love for biology and chemistry in my students, and I find it's important to continuously adapt to different learning styles to better suit their needs. I have 1 year of experience as a college level Supplemental Instructor for Fundamentals of Biology and General Chemistry. This position was merit based, and required recommendation from course professors. In addition, I have experience in academic research in genetics, as well as industry experience.
Additional teaching experience includes 6 months teaching English in China in 2011.
I originally started teaching English abroad. My interests and degree lies in Biology and Chemistry. I enjoy helping students grasp difficult concepts and fostering their love for the subjects.
I am an experienced Supplemental Instructor for college level Biology, as well as General Chemistry. I worked directly for my school and was hired based on academic performance, as well as ability to communicate concepts to struggling students. Students who attended supplemental instruction received, on average, a higher percentage of A's and B's than those who did not.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I would suggests that students read over their material before making a tutoring appointment. Tutoring is most effective as a supplementation to course material.
