About Heather
I am a senior biochemistry major in college, so I have a very strong background in math and science. French is a language I have studied for about 10 years now. I hope to provide a more personal touch with presenting material another way to your child if they don't understand the first time.
I am a senior in college, working towards my B.S. in Biochemistry, so I have a strong math and science background. I have worked with a tutoring company helping out in elementary schools before. I volunteered at an elementary school in Charleston for about a year helping tutor 2nd graders on math. I also have helped tutor peers since elementary school. I also have 10 years of French, through the 200 level college ability to tutor. As well as 11 years of Viola.

Having the student show me what they do not understand so I can clearly see what they are missing and help them learn what they are missing. I also like to be able to show them multiple ways to look at something so if they don't understand the first way they will understand one of the others. This helps them create a learning style that they understand and helps them succeed.
Everything from elementary students up through high school and some college level students. I have worked more with elementary just because there was more need, but I am comfortable working with up to college level students.
