About Casper
I am a PhD student , having obtained a first-class Modern Languages (Arabic, Persian and Russian) degree from St Andrews and an MPhil in Modern Middle Eastern Studies at Cambridge. I have 7 years of language teaching experience and studied abroad in an Arab country. I have taught classes of up to 30 students as well as individual tutorials.

I offer private lessons in Arabic to improve listening, speaking, reading and writing skills - with a particular focus on interactive learning through the arts: film, music and literature.
I frequently develop learning and participation activities for lesson plans as I found these to be one of the most effective means of encouraging inclusive, interactive and impactful learning. I believe that interactivity and fun are both key elements of an effective teaching style.
