About Stephen
Im a lifelong bowlerwith over 30 years experience. Im a silver level bowling coach with over 25 years experience in drilling equipent and coaching. I have experience coaching all ages and all ability levels.
I got in the bowling business to help others be better versions of themselves. Nothing feels as rewarding as watching students learn,grow and succeed!
My family is full of teachers and bowling happened to be my niche in life. I've been helping people for some 20 years now. I primarily got into coaching at first because of the love of the game. Now I coach b/c it's my favorite thing in the bowling business to do.
I have a degree in bowling from Vincennes University(yes that exists)
I also have a level 1,level2, bronze and silver USBC coaching certifications

We assess the status of their game and ability. Then We find out exactly what is troubling their game. I try not to overwhelm customers with too many issues to break down so we work on 1 to 3 item at a time, working on the most important items first

Perfect! Stephen is very personable, immediately puts you at ease... he started immediately by videoing my bowling form & giving tips for improvement.., mixed in encouragement, celebration & solid instruction .., perfect coaching! Very much a people personPerfect! Steve is very easy to work with. I have been bowling for some time but I was having great difficulty scoring consistently. Steve very quickly analysed my major problem (approached & release) and gave me drills to help in this area. I have a lot of practice ahead of me, but after only one lesson I am already feeling much more confident. I highly recommend Stephen!
Perfect! Stephen is a patient and thorough coach - professional and knowledgeable but especially kind and understanding. I had a stroke 5 years ago and he knows how to teach me in a way I can learn and not feel inadequate. Looking forward to regular lessons and improving!
Perfect! He worked with my grandchildren. He was friendly, patient and encouraging. The children enjoyed learning from Stephen. Their game has improved and they are very excited to continue to work at their game as they have fun bowling.

He's teaching me proper form. The way I was bowling was giving me elbow tendinitis. A few lessons and it was gone. My average is picking up. He's an awesome coach and will continue to take lessons from him. Highly recommend him!

He is great at teaching the very basic and advanced fundamentals in bowling. He knows how to change things in the physical game to get a better result at the pins. He’s good at spotting things in the approach that may cause inconsistencies at the release. He is all round a great coach.
