About Shey
I am a senior in the School Of Nursing at Tarleton and I am pursuing my BSN and double minoring in neuroscience and biology. I have a flexible schedule and can provide excellent tutoring services relating to biology and anatomy and physiology. I have taken courses such as Cell Biology, microbiology, anatomy and physiology I and II, Biology I and II, behavioral neuroscience, nueropsycopharmacology, pathophysiology, human lifespan and development, and a special topics class in viruses and one in chemistry research. I have published research with the American Society of Microbiology and have been awarded several awards for research presentations in chemistry including the 2019 American Chemical Society in Orlando, Florida. With my background in science and my unique implementation of visuals, tables, analogies, and study tips, I feel I can provide quality tutoring services.
I take pride in helping others. I am always willing to take extra time to make sure those around me are well equipped and have the tools to become successful. I've been tutoring in the athletic department for over two years at Tarleton as a paid tutor and I enjoy seeing people realize how much they already know about a subject.
