About Jillian
My service stands out because not only am I very well educated in the biology field but I also love teaching. Before I decided to get my biology degree with an emphasis in genetics, I was going to get a teaching degree so being able to tutor biology is a great happy medium.
I love being able to spread knowledge and, hopefully, passion for a really cool subject! I have always loved seeing that moment when a subject just clicks for someone.
I started teaching my sophomore year of college when I was asked to help tutor for a school-wide program.
I have a biology degree and I graduated with a 3.8 GPA. I am also currently working towards starting my masters for enology.

When working with new students, I like to take the first meeting to get to know them, figure out their schedule and what they are struggling on. Then after that we can get to working on the material. I try to start out slow until I know what skill level they are at.
I have worked with people with learning disabilities, people without and children as young as 12.
My advice would be to hire someone who is not only educated in the field but also a good teacher.
I tutored girl a couple years ago who was struggling in an ecology class. She and I worked extremely hard and she got an A in the class. She was extremely diligent and hardworking and I loved helping her out.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Students need to make sure they know what their problems are. If you can't tell me what you're struggling on, I can't help you very well.
