About Heather
Hi! My name is Heather! I am a graduate of UW-Parkside. I received my Bachelor's in Biological Sciences with Magna Cum Laude honors. While at UW-Parkside, I tutored Anatomy and Physiology. I was also a student success coach! I also worked at a K-8 school as after school help, where I often helped younger students with a variety of subjects!
I have always had a passion for science and love helping students understand new concepts and how exciting subjects like biology can be!
I have a Bachelor's Degree in Biological Sciences from UW-Parkside. I tutored Anatomy and Physiology, and was also a student success coach. I also have 3 years experience working with K-8 students!

The first step is always to identify the strengths and weaknesses that a student has and to identify the best way for that student to learn and study! Often, I find a study schedule can be helpful. It is important for a tutor to help explain difficult concepts, but it is also important to set the student up with the resources they need to be successful moving forward.
