About Bronte
I’m originally from Australia and have experience working as a tutor, after-school educator and support worker with children of different ages and abilities.
I also have a professional background in graphic design, so I’m quite a creative and visual person. I’ve found that really useful when working with kids, especially when something isn’t making sense to them and we need to find a different way of looking at it.
I’m patient and easygoing, and I really enjoy getting to know how each child learns rather than expecting the same approach to work for everyone. I’ve worked one-on-one with children who need some extra support, encouragement or just a bit more time to build their confidence.
I want tutoring to feel like a supportive space where kids can ask questions, make mistakes and learn without feeling pressured.

Every child learns differently, so I tailor my sessions to the individual child rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. I like to start by understanding what they’re finding difficult, what they already feel confident with, and how they learn best.
Sessions are relaxed, encouraging and practical. Depending on what your child needs, we can work on reading, writing, homework, organisation, study skills or general learning support. I’m also happy to work alongside what they’re currently learning at school.
My background in both tutoring and support work has taught me the importance of patience, confidence and making children feel comfortable asking questions. My goal is not just to get through the work, but to help them understand it and gradually feel more confident working independently.
