About David
I offer private one-on-one coaching that will help elevate the student's acting practice that will help bridge the gap between talent and technique so they can begin to cross their own artistic threshold. With over 12 years of experience and a prestigious acting background, I'll make sure the student is knowledgeable and holistically effective in their theory and approach so they may always feel prepared and excited to be the best they can be.
There's no better feeling than being able to captivate and mesmerize an audience through performance. When it's done well, it looks easy and that's the trap: it's extremely challenging. The biggest challenge is to be able to vessel a character believably so that they can live freely and truthfully within the story's circumstances. We need to be able to do the work so that the character can simply exist.
Masterful storytellers learn to get out of their own way to allow the story and its characters to be as powerful as it was written to be.
I have made award-winning short films, which were also edited and directed by me.
I have an MFA in Acting from UCLA and a BA in Theater and Secondary Ed. from Boise State.
I am currently working as a professional actor in LA, repped here by a reputable talent agency.
