I had the pleasure of attending the VIP Actors Retreat. The name said it all. During the course if 3 days I gained a ton of information. I did not take theater in school but I believe that this course taught me what I missed. During the course I learned information from audition to post audition, ways to get auditions, script breakdown, resume requirements, and the business side of being an entertainer. This course was very beneficial to me in so many ways. I am grateful that I attended and I'm grateful for Markeshia's gift and her willingness to educate the people coming up behind her. I absolutely love the fact that she is a hands on teacher, she taught me how to make a reel on Instagram and I've made 2 since the retreat and my 1st video has almost 500 views and my 2nd video has almost 1,700 views. She definitely give you the tools but it's up to you to put the tools into action. She is also a very transparent person who doesn't mind sharing her experiences. I can't say thank you enough I will forever be grateful for all you have taught me and all that you pour into my life.

The experience was excellent! Markeshia helped me tap into the why of my gifting while showing me how to acknowledge and affirm the value I create and negotiate to command the type of compensation I desire. This was truly a confidence builder for me personally and professionally. I THOROUGHLY enjoyed being apart of Markeshia’s Hollywood Masterclass. Not only does she focus on the craft of the artist, she really takes time to make sure the artist is comfortable being themselves in whatever entity they’re in. She really pushes “GODFIDENCE”, and that was one of the things that I’ll forever carry with me because I’ve seen a change in my own personal artistry and craft. Since applying her methods, I’ve noticed that I’m more intentional with who I am as an artist and I’m walking unapologetically in my craft.
