About Jasminn

I tailor my coaching to each student's personal needs.
I also have a strong network of unique resources to offer my clients.
My life is most full when I am practicing and sharing my art. In the past, I've had teachers who have presented themselves as gurus or gatekeepers. My focus isn't teaching you or shaping you. It's working with you. It's helping you create and reach new goals.
I have been teaching since 2010.
I started teaching and received teaching training from The Juilliard School as well as LeAp NYC.
I'm an actor, writer, and teacher currently living in New York City.
I studied Drama at The Juilliard School and have worked with and trained under some of the biggest names in theater and film.

First, we start with a consult. I typically ask about acting experience, if you've received any training, and together we'll set some goals for our sessions together.
After that, I work in a variety of ways depending on the client.
Perhaps we work on an upcoming audition?
Maybe we focus on voice and speech work or mastering a dialect?
Or maybe you want to tackle that monologue you've always wanted to do but haven't had the opportunity to work on in school?
You might be applying to MFA/BFA programs?
Or you could be an absolute beginner looking to learn the basics?
Anything you want to work on, I'm willing to coach and support you.
I work with all ages and experience leveles.
Search for teachers who are experienced and knowledgeable but be wary of teachers who act or speak as if they know it all.
Find someone you feel you can trust with your growth.
Trust your gut.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
What are the skills you'd like to work on?
What are some realistic goals you'd like to achieve?
What actors, plays, movies, tv shows are you inspired by?
Why do you want to receive actor training now?
