About Annie
I have been a working actor for over a decade. I have worked on Broadway, off-broadway, on TV and Film, and love the craft of acting. I continue to work, take class, audition and have a lot of first hand experience to share, weather that is preping for a TV audition, a network test, or working on a role for a play or musical.
I have always been inspired by actors; we are a very special breed. Willing to take on risks, challenges, lean into our vulnurability and be in touch with our own humanity. I have had many great teachers in my life and career, and have found a love of teaching as well. I find it a very rewarding to pass on my love of this craft, and see others fall in love with it as much as I do.
*BFA in Musical Theatre from the University of Oklahoma.
*Graduate of the School at Steppenwolf, Chicago
10+ years working as a professional actor from Broadway, to TV and film.

I believe that we are all programmed with the tools we need to succeed, it's just a matter if we have tapped into them or not. My goal in any kind of acting work is authenticity. If a choice comes from you, it's a valid choice. It is when we begin to try and "do it right", or copy someone else's choice, that we loose our authenticity. As a teacher, my goal is to help you tap into your voice, and your perspective to lead you choices and guide you towards your most authentic self.
I always find it helpful when a teacher (especially in the arts) practices what they preach. Not necessarly out auditioning every day, but at least involved in the community. Along with teaching, I continue to be a working actor, honing my own skills, and I believe that makes me a better teacher.
