About Kasha
Kasha Fauscett, the force behind GMP Acting Classes. She is a working actress, Commercial and film Director, Producer, Filmmaker, and Acting Coach.
GMP Acting Classes also holds talent showcases for different agencies each year at no additional cost. In the past, one of Kasha’s students was cast for a role in the “Moon Knight,” the Marvel Studios series for Disney+, while another was cast in the upcoming series “Ted,” based on the Seth MacFarlane comedy film franchise of the same name.
Kasha is someone whose big heart can be trusted. Integrity and honesty mean something to her. Kasha’s desire to help people achieve their goals in entertainment is part of what led her to found GMP Acting classes. She cares about her students so much, she will maintain contact outside of class, so no matter what questions any of her students may have, they will not have to wait until class to get them answered.
I started teaching 10 years ago. I was directing an independent film in a diner in Denver. We needed talent to portray diner patrons, so we contacted a local acting school to see if they had any students who would be interested in participating. The instructor volunteered along with some of his students. After filming, the instructor approached me and asked if I would be interested in teaching at his school. I worked for the Academy of the Arts in Denver for a couple years, and later branched out to start my own acting school.
Over 30 years' hands on experience in acting, directing independent films, TV commercials, production, trained with multiple Casting Directors from the Casting Society of America (CSA), obtained specialized training in the Ivonna Chubbuck Technique in New Mexico, and other acting studios.

New students are able to sit in on one free group class to ensure it's a good fit. If the student wishes to join after their free audit, then students can join class at any time. You do not need to wait until the beginning of the month to start.
I work with a wide range of students. No matter the age, experience level, my method of teaching is positive and encouraging. My goal is to help each student reach their goal, and we work as a team. Some students attend class to build their confidence level whereas other students would like to take acting to a professional level. I help mentor each student, and 75% of my students are now signed with talent agencies in Colorado, New Mexico, SE Market and Los Angeles.
Do your homework. A person can say they were part of something big or make false promises to gain a new client. Find an acting coach that you can trust and shows they truly care about you. Make sure they are affordable.
That was one hard lesson I learned. I trusted people easily and got burned. I spent a lot of money on coaches who "claimed" they had big credits under their belt. I failed to do my homework, but I learned my lesson the hard way. There is no magical way into Hollywood. If you are passionate, learn the acting lingo, best practices for self-taping, plus learn the acting technique that is right for you, and then educate yourself on the business side once you are ready for representation. Legitimate agencies do not charge to sign with them. They only make a 10-20% off the job you booked.
Teaching is my passion, and there is nothing better than seeing my students succeed. It feds my soul to see the excitement on the students face when they book a Commercial, TV show or movie. It warms my heart to see the parents proud of their children and tell me that their child is doing better in school because of their self-confidence.
A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Before you take classes think about why you want to become an actor. I've seen students fall in love with the idea of becoming famous, but when they find out the amount of work it takes, then some quit. Actors need to memorize, connect with their emotions, spend money on classes, headshots, self-tape equipment, and media clips that best showcase their talent because the competition is huge. Being an actor takes a lot of patience.

Details
Group classes are $150 for a packet of four classes, working out to $37.50 per class. If a student is not going to be present for any reason, they need to cancel at a minimum of 24 hours ahead of time to avoid a penalty. If a student is a no-show or cancels with less than 24 hours until class time, that class is forfeited (unless there is an emergency or sickness, in which case a 4-hour minimum applies). Unused classes remain credited to you if notification is provided and roll over to the following week.
Private lessons are $100 per hour and are beneficial when needing professional coaching for auditions. Private lessons are also available for actors who prefer one on one time to enhance their skills in a short period of time.
