Normally, I ask for relevant details about a student-client's request for online help to know more about their learning needs. (I would usually ask for a file that contains more information as to requirements, problem details, etc.)
Then, when I assess that the client and I are a good fit, I would offer to provide help - written or verbal coaching - to which the client may respond.
Next, the client and I will agree on terms: scope of work, estimated number of hours, days, weeks, etc. of work completion, and rate per hour, per day, or per request, among other relevant T&C's.
Finally, the client will be asked to wait until the deadline (or before) to receive the agreed-upon output for a paid written lesson, or he or she will wait until the scheduled paid live lesson through the preferred online learning platform, such as Skype, Zoom, etc. Feedback - live or written review - will be encouraged from the client to be able to consistently improve quality of tutoring services provided online.
