About Pontsho
Hello, my name is Pontsho Phiri, and I am a TEFL and TESOL certified online English tutor with a strong background in professional communication, administration, and customer service. I am passionate about helping students improve their English skills in a supportive, patient, and encouraging learning environment.
I believe that every student learns at their own pace, so I tailor each lesson to suit individual goals and learning styles. I believe that every student learns differently, so my tutoring approach is patient, supportive, and tailored to each learner’s individual needs and goals. My aim is to create a relaxed and encouraging online learning environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, making mistakes, and building confidence in English.
I hold TEFL and TESOL certifications, and I offer online English lessons focused on speaking, pronunciation, grammar, reading, writing, vocabulary, and conversational English. I also assist students who want to improve English for school, work, travel, interviews, or everyday communication.
I am fluent in English, and I conduct my lessons in English while adapting my pace and explanations to suit the student’s level.
A typical lesson with me includes a short review of previous work, clear explanations of the day’s topic, guided practice, interactive speaking activities, and constructive feedback. Students can expect lessons that are practical, engaging, and focused on real-life communication rather than memorisation only.
My lessons are suitable for children, teenagers, and adults, from beginner to intermediate level, as well as students who want to improve confidence in speaking English.
