My personal approach to private tutoring is more of the learner-centered approach. I don't believe in teacher-centered approach where the teacher talks and talks without giving the learner the opportunity to contribute his/her ideas. I believe that no child is a tabula rasa (blank slate). Every individual has their various innate abilities. As a tutor, I aid the learner to discover and bring out their innate abilities, identify areas where the learner isn't doing well and proffer possible solutions. The goal is to identify the learner's need.
