About Alison
Hey Students,
I am Miss Duval, your future favorite teacher!
I have been teaching for 2 years and I love my job. I have always been fascinated by Anglo-Saxon culture: I studied Anglo-Saxon civilization and culture at University, I lived in New York for 3 months to obtain my TOEFL test, and then a year to validate my Master Degree at the Hunter College and I also worked in London (Kensington Palace) and Montreal (Center for Early Childhood). I taught English in the French public school system for one year where I also lead a tutoring group for students who needed extra help.
I am a patient, optimistic teacher, always attentive to my students' needs. Through targeted and personalized exercises, I offer you structured and unique online courses.

My professional and academic background is very diverse, as are the themes and exercises that I create for my students. I am aware that each student has their own skills and interests that must be assessed and taken into account in order to create the best learning conditions. A personalized education is an education that makes you progress!
Once the first contact has been made (presentation of oneself and one's hobbies), I would be able to provide individually tailored courses in terms of level (A1-C1) and themes (themes and axes of Junior High/ High School, Business English, Exams' preparation, Bachelor/Master's degree). The lessons will then revolve around a major theme that will be used to discover, learn or revise a point of grammar, conjugation or pronunciation. The exercises can range from reading a text to analyzing a short video or even practicing short dialogues.
