About Anouska
I am currently taking a break from life in the classroom and therefore have time to dedicate to teaching pupils individually.
As a teacher, I've always worked hard to ensure that every student has enjoyed learning languages and has made progress, whether it is their favourite subject or not.
I strongly believe that every teacher should go beyond the textbook or exam task and try to find creative ways to make learning stick and make it useful.
I am also proud of the times in my career when I have changed someone's mind about French or Spanish, made them more confident in class or using languages in the real world or supported them to get a better grade than they imagined they were capable of.

I have a degree in languages from King's College, Cambridge (BA/MA Cantab), a PGCE from the Institute of Education (now UCL), a postgraduate certificate in Art History from Christie's and have taught since 2004.
I am a former Director of MFL at a London prep and have also taught in leading state and private secondaries.
I am a French Common Entrance tutor, EPQ supervisor and 11+ tutor for English and Verbal reasoning. I am happy to help in any of these areas or to help pupils prepare for GCSEs and A levels in French and Spanish for the Edexcel and AQA exam boards.
I teach using a variety of materials and resources from my classrooms but always aim to choose an approach that best suits each pupil's learning style and goals.
I offer hour long lessons that are designed to complement what is being taught at school.
