About Glacia
My name is Miss King, and I am the founder of Miss King’s STEM Academy. I have a strong academic background in STEM, holding an NQF Level 6 qualification in Land Surveying and an N4 in Civil Engineering. I am also currently pursuing a BSc in Applied Mathematics and Computer Science to further deepen my knowledge in Mathematics and analytical sciences.
My interest in teaching began when I worked as a student assistant in 2021, where I supported learners through tutorials and academic guidance. During that time, I realized how many learners struggle not because they are incapable, but because they lack clear explanations and structured support.
I am passionate about helping learners build confidence in Mathematics and Sciences, understand concepts deeply, and realize their academic potential. Teaching allows me to make a meaningful difference while contributing to the growth of future engineers, scientists, and professionals.
