About Sally
Having lived and worked in Latin America for over 7 years, I have a deep love for the Spanish language and Latin American culture in particular.
A qualified Steiner School teacher, I taught Spanish to 250 children ages 6-16 years for 7 years. I have also tutored students in their preparation for GCSE and offered private individually tailored adult lessons for those wanting to learn conversational and/or holiday Spanish.
A creative thinker, I enjoy the challenge of making my lessons fun, engaging and inspiring and finding the right teaching style which fits for you..

Using a combination of teaching methods including TPR- total physical response, immersion, GCSE syllabus, prescribed adult courses- for children: fun, games, puppets, songs, storytelling and TPR. I can adapt classes/sessions to meet the needs of whoever I am teaching. With experience in many different approaches and styles, we can find the right method that works for you!
Lessons range from 20 mins- 1 hour depending on age and needs. Can teach individual 1:1 or small group sessions.

Perfect! Sally is a very experienced and well travelled tutor. Her knowledge of the language structure has been incredibly helpful.
Shes incredibly easy to talk to and even created our lesson plans specifically based around my personal relationship with the Spanish language and why I need to learn :) looking forward to learning more together :)- Storm has visited México a number of times and is keen to learn Spanish so she can speak to people in their native language. Sally is brilliant! I would definitely recommend her as a tutor for anyone wanting to learn Spanish. I’m a complete beginner and I’ve learnt so much in just 7 lessons. My confidence is growing each time and Sally makes you feel totally comfortable. Great teaching style!
