About Martin
I am experienced songwriter, composer, producer and multi-instrumentalist (guitar, piano, trumpet, banjo, drums, violin, accordion) who lives and breathes music!
I have a BA in Music Technology from Lancaster University, and I am currently studying towards an MA in Music Education at the UCL Institute of Education.

My lessons are suitable for students of all levels who are studying GCSE and AS/A-Level music. I take an entirely student-centred approach; in the first session we will get to know each other and map out a plan that is tailored to your needs. We can either cover the syllabus more generally, or focus on specific challenging areas e.g. Composition, Listening, Performance.
My goal is to provide tuition that is dynamic, exciting and creative. Making music is the best way to understand music, and is central to my educational practice. In addition to supporting you to get excellent results in your GCSEs or AS/A-Levels, my lessons help to develop your own personal musicality and creativity, to place you in the best possible position for a lifetime of music making!
