Hi, I’m Avery! I tutor NCEA and university computer science papers online. My approach is to work through each standard or topic carefully with students, taking time to explain tricky concepts in a way that makes them easy to understand. I like to encourage questions and make sure students feel confident applying what they’ve learned.
Lessons are typically 1 hour, but I can adjust depending on the student’s needs. I have a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from UC and professional experience as a software developer at two startups and at Powerco. My lessons are suitable for high school students studying NCEA computer science, as well as university students tackling computer science and software engineering papers.
