About Jeya
I'm a full-time Mathematics teacher at a CBSE school in Chennai, India, currently teaching grades 8 to 10, including JEE-foundation level classes for grades 9 and 10. Alongside my school role, I've taught home tuition for several years, helping students build strong fundamentals in algebra, geometry, trigonometry, and problem-solving.
I specialize in breaking down difficult concepts into simple, step-by-step methods, and I'm patient with students who struggle with maths anxiety or need extra practice to build confidence. My teaching style focuses on understanding the "why" behind formulas, not just memorizing them — which helps students perform better in both regular schoolwork and competitive exams.
I'm available for online 1-on-1 sessions in the evening (UK time), and I'm happy to work around your child's school schedule and exam timeline (GCSE, IGCSE, or general maths support).
