About Joy
My two passions are teaching and composition. I started out as a French horn player and then worked running band programs in schools for 25 years. I have taught piano and music theory privately since my teens. I have a great love for choral music and enjoy writing both choral and instrumental works.

Teaching all ages, from beginners to advanced. Can prepare students for exams. Lessons typically Run 30 min, however they can be 20 min to an hour, depending on age and level of student. I have BA, Grad. Dip. Ed., and B. Mus (Honors). 30 years experience teaching both in schools and privately.
