About Duke
I am a qualified Clinical Medicine and Public Health professional with over 16 years of experience in healthcare, public health, research, and teaching. I also have several years of experience teaching at KMTC, where I have supported students in subjects including Biostatistics, Clinical Methods, Community Health and Surgery.
My teaching philosophy is centred on making complex subjects simple, practical and engaging. I understand that every student learns differently, so I adapt my lessons to your level, learning objectives and areas of difficulty. Whether you are preparing for examinations, struggling with a particular topic, working on a research project, or looking to strengthen your professional knowledge, I provide patient and structured guidance.
I have practical experience in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Public Health, Research Methods, data analysis and clinical practice, allowing me to connect classroom concepts with real-world healthcare and research situations.
My online lessons are interactive and student-focused. I use clear explanations, practical examples, worked exercises and real-life scenarios to help students understand concepts and develop confidence.

My teaching approach is practical, student-centred and focused on helping learners understand concepts rather than simply memorising information.
I have over 16 years of professional experience in Clinical Medicine and Public Health and several years of teaching experience as a KMTC lecturer, where I teach subjects including Biostatistics, Clinical Methods, Community Health and Surgery. This combination of professional and teaching experience allows me to connect theory with real-world clinical and public health practice.
I begin each lesson by identifying the student's current level, learning objectives and areas of difficulty. I then explain concepts step by step using simple language, practical examples, diagrams, worked examples and real-life health scenarios. For subjects such as Biostatistics and Epidemiology, I place particular emphasis on practical exercises, interpretation of results and application to research and public health problems.
My lessons are interactive rather than one-way lectures. I encourage students to ask questions, work through problems with me and explain concepts back in their own words. I also provide exercises and practical examples that help students build confidence and identify areas requiring further attention.
A typical lesson is 120 minutes, although longer sessions can be arranged for students working on research projects, examinations, assignments or more advanced topics.
I teach Secondary, university and college students, medical and health-science students, public health students, nursing students, clinical medicine students and adult learners. I can support beginners who need a strong foundation as well as advanced learners who need help with Biostatistics, Epidemiology, Research Methods, data analysis or interpretation of research findings.
My goal is simple: to make difficult health and statistical concepts understandable, practical and useful, and to help every student become more confident and independent in their learning.
