I am Awais Tahir, a propulsion engineer with an academic background in mechanical and aerospace engineering. I have hands-on experience in turbomachinery design, cryogenic pump development, and aerospace propulsion, along with teaching experience in thermodynamics, space propulsion, and turbomachinery. My lessons are structured, practical, and tailored to each student’s needs, whether for exams, coursework, or deeper conceptual understanding. I teach mechanical and aerospace engineering students with a practical, step-by-step approach that connects theory to real design work. I start with fundamentals, use worked examples and MATLAB-based problem solving, and then move into application, exam preparation, and project support. My lessons are for undergraduate and graduate students studying thermodynamics, space propulsion, turbomachinery, fluid mechanics, and related engineering subjects. What sets me apart is my hands-on turbomachinery design experience, including cryogenic pump development, plus my experience as a teaching assistant. Awais is part of my professional identity and I bring that same disciplined, engineering-focused mindset into every lesson.
